When we set out to help you find your new home, we make sure to tick all the boxes in the preparation phase. After getting you in touch with an independent financial advisor, we start with mapping out all of your housing wishes in detail. We employ a smart online tool to help us do this: Copaan. Based on a clear profile of your hard requirements, soft needs and nice-to-haves as extras, Copaan will match new listings and give you real time insights into potential new homes!

Create a search profile

You will get a personal login to your own online Copaan environment. Together we will fill out your profile.

Of course the general who-what-where questions: your household, budget, location, type of house, etc. But also whether you want a garden, and if so, preferably in front or in the back? The number of (bed/bath) rooms, period of construction, situation of the house by (water) or downtown. Those sorts of things.

Indicate priorities

With all your preferences listed, we will prioritize. What is an absolute requirement? What do you find quite important? And what would be a fun extra? Based on these priorities, Copaan calculates what percentage of a house matches to your profile. So absolute conditions outweigh the perks… During the search process, we can adjust these priorities as needed.

Neighborhoods

You already have selected which cities you’re interested in moving to. Now we will dive into which neighborhoods you’d prefer. You’ll get an overview of every neighborhood in the particular cities. With a heart, a thumbs up or down you can indicate your preference. Of course, Copaan will take these preferences into account whilst calculating your match to a particular listing.

Updates house matches

You can log into Copaan to check out your matches. Or you can activate an email notification. To avoid spam, you can indicate how high a match you’d like to get a notification for, with a minimum of 50%.

You can choose to receive real-time notifications as soon as a new matching listing becomes available. Or select one email a day. 

Under the tab “houses” you can see all your matches listed, clearly stating which requirements the house does and does not meet. This way you won’t miss a single match, and you will immediately see all its pros and cons.

Contact

Your broker is on top of things. Is there a house that matches? Of course we will contact you. Swift communication is important. In Copaan you can attach notes to a house for your purchase broker and vice versa. Great to have all that information in one place. You can also “save” a house as a favorite.
